Multiple Figure Poses — Mixed Media, Charcoal-Based Study by Chris Shopland
Room926 Life Model Sessions — A1 (23.4 x 33.1 inch) paper
Set of multiple poses on a single sheet
This piece is a playful and engaging study created during live Zoom life-drawing sessions with Room926 - here is profile . The challenge was to fit multiple dynamic poses onto one A1 sheet, resulting in a lively composition that captures the energy of the model and the spontaneity of working quickly.
As with many of my studies, this artwork was never originally intended for sale. I create a large volume of work, and eventually storage (already is) becomes a challenge—so I prefer to let pieces find good homes where they’ll be appreciated and displayed, shared, making space for new creations.
Shipping & Care
The artwork will be shipped rolled in a tube. It has not been fixed, as fixative can sometimes alter the colour of the paper and risk losing delicate charcoal textures. Because of this, a small amount of charcoal dust may be present in the tube upon arrival but the artwork will remain more or less untouched. A professional framer will know how to mount it with a gap between the artwork and the glass to prevent smudging.
