Magpie Bottom is a local walk I sometimes take with my dog on, with a pond, stream, woodland and a spring-fed plunge pool that a lot of dogs absolutely love! This painting was created from a photograph I took while out on one of those walks, translating the scene into my more expressive, semi-abstract style, editing and simplifying the complex scene. Looking for colour, texture and movement to bring about joy.
The painting comes presented in a store-bought frame. The frame is included as a bonus and is intended to give an idea of how the work can be displayed. Many customers choose to keep the artwork in the frame, but if you would prefer the artwork unframed, just let me know when ordering.
If posted framed, I will package it carefully to give it the best chance of arriving safely. However, as the artwork is what you are purchasing, I cannot guarantee or replace the frame if it does happen to be damaged during delivery. If you would rather avoid this risk, I am happy to send the painting unframed instead, just pop in notes or drop me an email stating which artwork before I send it out.
